The stand came the same day that I needed to use it at a performance. I was a little nervous, as it was an untested element to my performance, but it worked wonderfully! I've been using a sound system monitor for several years and it was clunky at best. This is a far better solution.

I'm a musician turned video producer. I use my laptop for tele-prompting in the field. I was in need of a lightweight, sturdy, portable stand to position my laptop in front of the camera at varying heights. The laptop stand is exactly what I was looking for! This is no cheesy music stand. It resembles a small speaker tripod stand. Even on carpeting at full height, the laptop was extremely stable. Just writing to let you know that your laptop stand works really well for me as a traveling trainer. It folds small enough to go in my carry-on suitcase; when set up it is sturdy and substantial enough for me to trust my laptop to it. The back support works very well to hold up the display and writing surface of my tablet PC, and the straps secure my laptop (ThinkPad X61 tablet with the extended battery) perfectly.
